We are currently looking for a proactive and results-driven Commercial Performance & Analytics Manager to join our team in Bucharest, within Rompetrol Downstream.

 

Rompetrol Downstream coordinates the local fuel distribution network. In Romania, the company operates over 450 fuel stations, including its own stations as well as Rompetrol Partner and Rompetrol Express franchises. More than fuel distribution points, Rompetrol stations are designed as service centers where, in addition to high-quality products, customers can relax in more than 160 Hei restaurants across the network.

 

Your new role:  The role focuses on measuring, analyzing, and interpreting sales performance using data from internal systems, with the objective of supporting management decisions through clear KPIs, structured analyses, and executive‑level reporting. You will play a key role in developing performance measurement frameworks, identifying performance gaps and improvement opportunities, and translating complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.


Activities going to help you shine:


•    Analyze sales performance using data from internal systems (CRM, ERP, BI tools) and translate results into clear insights and recommendations.
•    Develop and maintain financial models for commercial customers and public/private tender (auction) clients, supporting pricing, margin, and scenario analysis.
•    Support the Commercial Director with data‑driven sales forecasts, KPI tracking, and performance analysis by channel and customer segment.
•    Build new analytical models and monitoring tools to assess sales effectiveness and agent performance.
•    Monitor trends in performance, pricing evolution, and commercial dynamics to support strategic decisions.
•    Prepare concise analyses, dashboards, and executive presentations for top management, ensuring clarity and consistency in performance reporting.
•    Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives related to performance management and commercial optimization.

The fuel needed to go further with us:


•    Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
•    Proven experience in commercial analytics, sales performance analysis, financial modeling, or sales operations.
•    Strong experience working with financial models, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks.
•    Advanced analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
•    Experience preparing executive‑level presentations and performance reviews.
•    Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools, CRM, or ERP systems is a strong advantage.
•    Very good command of English.
