Compliance Specialist

Your new role: Performs compliance specific activities with focus on due diligence verifications for potential business partners according with Know Your Customer procedure in force. Draw conclusions, draft reports and assigned risk rates depending on the results of verifications and in line with applicable procedure.
Activities going to help you shine:
Due Diligence (KYC process):
• Contact potential business partners of KMGI Group relevant entities to obtain required information and documents for performing due diligence process;
• Based on the verifications made on the information and documents received and based on the analysis of information from other tools, draws a conclusion related to the potential business partner of KMGI Group’ entities and assigns a risk rate (according to pre-determined matrix of evaluation);
• Based on the information received from relevant KMGI Group entities, perform due diligence verifications for the export-import business partners of the respective entity, for the operations and proposed logistic routes;
• Provides regular and ad-hoc management reports and information related to KYC process;
• Performs verifications and follow up requests to ensure that due diligence process is adequately performed in all KMGI Group entities.
Other key responsibilities:
• Review internal procedures/policies/regulations developed at Local and at KMGI Group level;
• Analyze the AML related reports received from retail network and draft periodical reports;
• Investigate and provide opinion on any Compliance related issues: Code of Ethics, Conflicts of Interests, Anti-Harassment and Non-Discrimination, etc.
The fuel needed to go further with us:
• Bachelor degree required;
• Preferred minimum 2 years of experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Internal Control or Risk Management;
• Desired compliance risk evaluation knowledge;
• Attention to details, analytical skills, ability to extract the relevant content from processed information and to present it in a easy to read/understand manner;
• Inquiring mind;
• Good communication (oral and written) and presentation skills;
• Excellent communication skills with ability to make connections and explain complex business concepts;
• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy;
• Good command of English, advanced level;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and Power Point) is required;
