Financial Analyst

We are currently looking for a passionate and team-player Financial Analyst for Bucharest, within KMG Rompetrol, department Group Finance.

Your new role: Participate in management reporting, performance reporting, forecasting and controlling, business intelligence activities.

Activities going to help you shine:

•    Participate directly in actual vs. plan reporting, both operational and Opex, including Opex monitoring.
•    Support with planning processes and performance reporting.
•    Support with the Business Intelligence maintenance.

Your position is described as a complex analyst and controller within the group financial area. In this role, you’ll support over 20+ companies within Rompetrol group, all of which are active in key segments of the oil and gas industry, including refining, trading, retail, and various auxiliary services. You’ll also collaborate closely with colleagues in the corporate area, giving you the chance to explore your interests in reporting, planning, performance, risk management, business intelligence, analytics, and more.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage and control different processes around actual versus plan that will give you a comprehensive understanding of the business flow. This will involve coordinating with key stakeholders across all companies within the group, in order to represent and achieve top management interests.

•    Bachelor’s degree in the fields of finance/accounting or related
•    Minimum 2 years of previous experience in finance/data analysis/controlling or financial audit.
•    Technical orientation: above average Office pack knowledge (mainly Excel); Business Intelligence/SAP products passionate. 
•    Good English language skills (financial analysis specific)
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to gather and analyze data from a wide range of sources.
•    Excellent communication skills with ability to make connections and explain complex business concepts.
•    Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
