Franchise Specialist

We are currently looking for a team-oriented and proactive Franchise Specialist, in Bucharest, to join Rompetrol Downstream, who will be responsible for actively supporting management of the HEI franchise.
Since 2006 Rompetrol Downstream launched its own retail wet franchise, managing today more than 130 franchised stations (DODO model) in Romania. Rompetrol Partner network is now the most developed retail franchise in oil & gas. Starting October 2022, a new development of Rompetrol Downstream retail franchise will target the dealer’s shop & restaurant business line. The new franchise extension is implemented into new dodo stations and, gradually, within next 2 years, into all existing dodo stations.
Your new role: You will initiate, coordinate, and monitor the communication processes and commercial relationships for the Rompetrol Downstream shop and restaurant franchise. Your role involves coordinating with dry franchise partners, retail solution providers, and key internal departments, ensuring full alignment with internal procedures and efficient franchise operation.
Activities going to help you shine:
• Processes, communicates to franchisees, and updates, whenever necessary, the list of mandatory and recommended products and services for shops and restaurants, recommended prices, and recommended suppliers, in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Coordinate product and promotion validation processes with franchisees and the DWS internal departments.
• Support the implementation of national and local promotions and ensure proper communication to franchise stations.
• Liaise with the retail solution provider to monitor sales, purchasing volumes, and compliance with franchise standards.
• Calculate and monitor dry franchise commissions and related invoicing processes.
• Monitor franchise compliance with operational standards in collaboration with Retail Operations and Marketing teams.
• Support the onboarding and operational setup of new franchise stations, including system configuration and training.
• Maintain relevant databases and provide periodic updates to internal stakeholders.

• University degree, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or marketing would be a plus;
• Professional experience of minimum 3 years in similar field;
• Previous experience in a similar position would be considered a plus;
• B2B Commercial experience is an advantage;
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills, demonstrated ability to solve multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Very good communication skills;
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills;
• Problem solving skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with mandatory intermediate-level Excel expertise;
• Foreign languages: English - medium level.
