IT Project Manager

We are currently looking for a team-oriented and proactive IT Project Manager for Bucharest, within KMG Rompetrol.

Your new role: As a Technical Project Manager, you will leverage your technical expertise and understanding of modern technology trends to lead and contribute to IT projects that drive the Company’s growth and operational excellence. You will work on the implementation of IT projects by defining and optimizing the functional scope of each project. Additionally, you will be able to use existing applications within the company to independently develop and configure tools for various IT challenges. This role is not limited to executing current tasks but also emphasizes proactively identifying and proposing innovative technological solutions that align with strategic goals.
The project manager organizes and carries out each project according to the project management standards, the policies in force in KMGR and the mandate received from the Sponsor / Steering Committee.

Activities going to help you shine:
•    Based on deep technical knowledge of IT analyze the business requirements and prepare the technical requirements 
•    Prepare optimal functional scope of the project by eliminating excessive or inappropriate requirements
•    Design the architecture of solutions considering the integrations of new systems into the Company's existing IT infrastructure
•    Knowing the Python and SQL is a plus
•    Be proactive for any operational improvements using existing IT applications, such as increasing utilization of existing applications, creating dashboards, monitoring scripts to check anomalies and etc
•    Organizing and carrying out BA project according to the requirements of the beneficiaries.
•    Supervises, by providing common and repeatable processes according to the project methodology, the correct implementation of the projects / programs for which he is responsible.
•    Participates in strategic portfolio analyzes.
•    Organizing and planning resources according to the approved purpose of the project / program;
•    Development of a project plan that would allow both the execution of the project and its monitoring.
•    Monitors the risks of the project in accordance with the risk procedure in force and with the risk management plan approved;
•    Follows the realization of deliverables in accordance with the project documentation and with the approved contractual clauses;
•    Identifies and proposes the methodology according to which the project will be carried out;
•    Assign tasks to project team members;
•    Monitors projects and prepares regular status reports to key stakeholders;
•    Facilitates communication between project participants;
•    Identifies and implements Manages the relationship with the suppliers involved in the project, within the approved contractual framework;
•    Establishes and maintains project management practices;
•    Creates and uses metrics on project management results;
•    Project Management best practices.
 

The fuel needed to go further with us:
•  Bachelor’s degree in relevant field: IT / economic/ technic; Information technologies preferable;
•  Excellent knowledge of Business and IT principle;
•  Demonstrated understanding of Project and Contract Management processes, strategies, and methods;
•  Working experience: at least 4 -5 year of experience in coordinating the implementation of important  Business application projects, such as  SAP implementation; BI implementation; CRM implementation; 
•  Experience as project manager in the implementation of dedicated software for retail fuel station is a plus.
•  Qualification: Project management qualification: PMP certification/ PRINCE2 Practitioner/Certified scrum master;
•  Knowledge : Principles, practices, tools and techniques of project management
•  Knowledge of planning, cost estimation / control, risk management, resource planning, 
•  MS Office: advanced level;
•  English - advanced level;
•  Project Portfolio System: advanced level;
•  Excel: intermediate / advanced level;
•  Good communications skills with customers, team and stakeholders.
•  Critical thinking and problem-solving approach.
