PR Specialist

We are currently looking for a team-oriented and enthusiastic Public Relations Specialist for Bucharest, within Rompetrol Downstream.
 
 

Your new role:  Responsible to contributing to the implementation of communication plans in order to keep/create a good image and reputation of the Rompetrol Group’s brands and companies.
 

Activities going to help you shine:
o Implements PR and communication plans.
o Enhance the Rompetrol’s voice and presence through online and offline channels
o Plan and execute PR projects, local and central level – editorial, interviews, events, conferences, tours etc.
o Build relationships with external stakeholders (partners, PR agency, SM agency, media outlets etc.) and internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, Business Development, QHSE, Legal) to plan & implement campaigns, PR & communication initiatives to support business
o Manage media relations and requests
o Write press releases, speeches, and other PR materials
o Collects and analyze/evaluate media coverage
o Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring PR activities of competitors.
o Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention

The fuel needed to go further with us:
o Proven experience as public relations specialist or similar position in a company, PR agency, Media - Minimum 3 years experience;
o Experience in project management and execution of PR campaigns and/or initiatives;
o Experience in copywriting and editing;
o University degree in Communication / Journalism represents an advantage;
o Strong media contacts in the business related media, across print, online, TV;
o Knowledge of English - advanced;
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
o Capacity for analysis and synthesis;
o Creativity;
o Ability to write (and research) in a reasonable timeframe;
o Adaptable mindset and excellent critical thinking abilities;
o High level of curiosity and desire to develop;
o Proactive attitude;
o Writing and speaking skills;
o Organizational and problem-solving skills;
o Interpersonal skills.
