Senior Sustainability Specialist

We are currently looking for a communicative and energetic Senior Sustainability Specialist for Bucharest, within KMG Rompetrol.

Activities going to help you shine:
•    Be actively involved in a wide range of projects (sustainability reporting and assurance, stakeholder engagement activities, materiality assessments, peers assessments, ESG strategy development, studies, etc.)
•    Research and implement best practice in sustainability, and be constantly updated with the regulatory requirements and trends within the ESG sector
•    Communication of ESG performance across the matrix of stakeholders, using a mix of channels.
•    Coordinate local sustainability initiatives for our Business Units, as well as other communications and public interventions related to sustainability
•    Gather and verify the quality of sustainability data against the requirements
•    Drive internal training and communication on sustainability topics 

The fuel needed to go further with us:
•    Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice
•    Good understanding of the issues within the Sustainability industry, such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Taxonomy, ESRS
•    At least 3-4 years relevant experience in projects covering sustainability issues 
•    Proficiency in English, ability to use appropriate business and technical terminology to prepare a professional report
•    Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills
•    Effective communication skills – written and verbal.
•    Pro-active, accountable, and results-driven person
