Contractors & Transport Safety Specialist

We are currently looking for an organized and team-oriented Contractors & Transport Safety Specialist for Navodari, within KMG Rompetrol.

Your new role: Responsible for ensuring contractor compliance with Group QHSE standards and procedures throughout the tender, execution, and contract closure phases, including contractor evaluation, audits, and the implementation of safe work systems. Also responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting road safety programs, procedures, incident investigations, and training across the organization.

Activities going to help you shining:

•    Coordinate the contractor management process throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from tendering and contractor selection to execution and contract closure.
•    Ensure contractors comply with Group QHSE standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
•    Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE procedures, standards, and safe systems of work related to contractor management and transport safety.
•    Conduct contractor evaluations, audits, and performance reviews, while supporting the implementation of safe systems of work.
•    Monitor contractor safety performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
•    Develop, implement, and promote road safety policies, programs, and awareness campaigns across the organization.
•    Lead or support transport-related incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
•    Deliver safety training, guidance, and awareness initiatives for employees and contractors.
•    Collaborate closely with operational teams, contractors, and key stakeholders to strengthen the organization's safety culture and ensure best practices are consistently applied.

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Transport, or a related field.
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE/QHSE, contractor management, transport safety, or a similar role.
•    Good understanding of contractor compliance, risk management, and safe work systems.
•    Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
•    Experience developing and implementing HSE procedures, standards, and safety programs.
•    Professional Health & Safety certification required, in accordance with local legislation.
•    Knowledge of road safety principles and transport risk management is an advantage.
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
•    A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement approach.
•    Higher level of English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
•    Availability for traveling periodically.
