Industrial Safety Specialist

We are currently looking for a proactive and analytical Industrial Safety Engineer for Constanta within Rompetrol Rafinare.

Your new role: Advise operating areas in managing process safety risks and hazards associated with day-to-day processes, equipment and operations within the Rompetrol Rafinare.

Activities going to help you shine:
•    Organizes and performs installations control for the safe operation and maintenance of process equipment in good technical condition (pressure vessels, furnaces and tanks, air cooling devices, process pipes, steam and hot water pipes, steam boilers, lifting means - lifting mechanisms, elevators, conveyors);
•    Organizes investigations of incidents, accidents and non-conformities within the company. Participates in the development of incident and accident prevention measures at the company level and ensures control over their implementation;
•    Manages and controls the development and implementation of the Industrial Safety procedures;
•    Establishes processes and systems to prevent fire, explosion or other undesired events arising from operational/ technical risks; 
•    Monitors keeping up to date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices and ensures the organization remains in compliance;
•    Develops specific long and short-term advanced training programs, rolls out tools and contributes to knowledge management, communication, audit and reporting;
•    Partner with internal and external industrial safety experts to further identify and develop proper Industrial Safety management programs; 
•    Contributes for short-term and annual Industrial Safety action plan and related CAPEX/OPEX planning.

•    Bachelor’s degree in technical related field;
•    Previous experience of 2-3 years on a similar/equivalent position;
•    Previous work experience in an industrial sector is mandatory;
•    Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of people;
•    Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels within the company;
•    Strong team working and collaborative skills;
•    Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; 
•    Ability to organize, analyze and synthesize information;
•    Attention to details;
•    Elementary in English;
•    Good MS Office skills;
•    A valid driving license, cat B.
