We are currently looking for an organized and team-oriented Budgeting & Reporting Coordinator for Bucharest, within KMG Rompetrol.
Your new role: Coordinate and oversee KMGR’s budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate objectives.
Activities going to help you shining:
- Coordinates the elaboration of budgets or budget revision in direct correlation with strategic objectives at the Group level;
- Organizes meetings with budget owners to identify the budgetary needs with appropriate explanations and verifications vs previous assumptions and actual expenditures of previous reporting periods;
- Ensures appropriate computation of Management fee within IT systems as per fiscal requirements corroborated with group procedure, and the allocations to Group companies;
- Has responsibility to coordinate the reconciliation process between entities during the budgeting process;
- Verify periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for management (i.e. Balance Sheet, Accounting Notes, Income Statement, Cash Flow, etc.) using standard systems and procedures for financial reporting;
- Coordinates, verifies and reconciles the financial / accounting adjustments generated by the differences in accounting treatment between Romanian accounting standards and financial reporting standards (IFRS);
- Coordinates, prepares, verifies and reconciles reports and statements, which refer to documents, data and financial / accounting information requested by control institutions, external auditor, financial and credit institutions, management, shareholders, internal audit;
- Participates in the continuous improvement of the financial budgeting & reporting system within the company;
- Provides support and consultancy for budgeting & reporting issues within the team and contributes to the team members development.
The fuel needed to go further with us:
- Bachelor’s Degree in economics/finance (Additional qualifications related to the job would be considered a valuable asset- ACCA, CertIFR, DipIFR etc);
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in reporting/financial analysis/controlling/accounting;
- Knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards and Romanian Accounting Standards (IFRS) and Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) would be considered a plus;
- Ability to generate, interpret, easily understand and translate the Financial Statements of a company (Balance Sheets, Statements of Income, Statements of Cash Flow, and the accompanying notes thereafter) into relevant business information in order to take the appropriate decisions;
- Good communication skills;
- Strong planning & organizing skills, prioritization and time management;
- Very good command of English language;
- Advanced MS Office knowledge;
- Capable of managing workload and prioritizing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
